Echoes that matter is a short collection of poetry that explores life in the aftermath of sexual violence. It paints a picture of the silences around sexual violence and their impact on victims/survivors. The collection touches on how trauma manifests through the body, and sheds light on the visceral experiences of pain and healing in relation to trauma. With this collection, I aim to speak into the void that sexual violence creates with the hopes of providing legitimacy and resonance for survivors, and awareness for those who have not experienced it.
